The wine is deeply colored, shows lifted dark and blue fruits, violets and a dusting of cardamom spice. More concentrated than prior vintage, this new release has a core of flavor that’s only starting to unfold. There’s an array of complex primary fruit in the mouth, hints of whole bunches, charred meat and earthy tannin guiding a lengthy finish.
