This is an exciting Merlot from the premium grape growing region of Great Southern (WA). The juicy plum and earthy overtones are enhanced with subtle oak integration. Lengthy fruit on the palate is accompanied by a fine grain tannin finish. The vintage period was long and slow, resulting in grapes being picked in a ripe condition with good levels of natural acidity. A perfect winter warming wine.
